FDA Recalls Certain Mini-Wheat Cereals After Metal Fragments Found

The Food and Drug Administration is warning that some boxes of Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal may contain metal fragments.
The FDA released the recall Wednesday saying that certain boxes of the Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size cereal “have the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part.”
The FDA says only Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size with the letters KB, AP or FK before or after the expiration date have the potential to contain the metal fragments.
